How to avoid a climate disaster

This video series was commissioned by Gates Ventures to accompany the release of Bill Gates' book How to Avoid a Climate Disaster. As the Creative Director for the series, I oversaw a team of internationally based animators and artists in the 3-month production of 7 animated educational shorts that introduce solutions for the climate crisis.
My team included: Wing Lo - a New York-based storyboard artist, Hype - an animation studio in Brazil, AIM Creative Studios - an animation collective in Portugal, and André Aires - a composer based in Portugal. Under my direction, this talented international team created a vivid visual language to deliver a crucial and timely message. We worked closely with our client and script writers to ensure factual accuracy and to prioritize pedagogical value.
